Our company, Noguchi Kumataro Tea Garden (Noguchitokutarosyoten Co., Ltd.), was founded in 1874 in Sashima-gun, Ibaraki Prefecture by Kumataro Noguchi, the first generation of tea growers, and we are now in our fifth generation. Sashima-gun, Ibaraki Prefecture, has long flourished as a tea production area in the northern part of Japan, and its tea is now called Sashima-cha. We will create a new tea culture while carefully preserving the traditions and techniques that have been cultivated over five generations.
